A Brand new book from Sidney Halstone and the first book in her brand new Panic series Pull me close was a fab read. The Panic series will tell the story of nightclub owners and brothers Nico and Matt as they come to grips and move past the mess their father and his dodgy deals left the business in. The first book in the series Pull me Close is Nico's tale and introduces us to the brothers and their Miami night club Panic.

Left jaded by the betrayal of his fiancé with his best friend Nico has closed himself off from the world. Coinciding with the raids on the club thanks to his fathers dodgy ways and mismanagement Nicos life came crumbling down around him. With him and brother Matt working hard to restore the reputation of the club and get it back into the black financially. The club can't afford to have a junkie pass out on the premises, and that's what he thinks Katherine is when she does just that. For Katherine Panics not a nightclub it's a state of mind, left scarred emotionally when trapped due to the events of 9/11 Katherine has become a recluse.  However with her sisters engagement party happening at Panic she has to leave her apartment for the first time in months, unfortunately when her PTSD and anxiety decide to make an appearance she ends up passed out in the owners arms.

Telling Katherine's story as she overcomes her illness this book does not take the easy route and doesn't shy away from the experiences of a PTSD sufferer. It's emotionally heart wrenching and when coupled with the hot scenes as Katherine and Nico fall for each other make for a great read. I loved Sidney Halstons Worth the Fight Series and wondered if I would fall in love with Panic as easily, no need to fear this book although different from WTF was just as good to read 5 stars.
