“I’ve narrowed it down to five reasons why a woman would throw a drink at a man.”
He leans back and crosses his perfectly toned arms over his chest.
“Impart your wisdom, oh wise bartender.” He takes another drink of his beer and—yet again—watching me like a hawk. I wish he’d stop watching me.
My confidence wavers under his intense stare but when I catch a knowing glint in his eye, it riles me up. There’s nothing worse than a guy who hides his unease behind a cocky façade, especially when I know there’s something genuine hiding there.
It’s one of the worst qualities a guy can have. It’s disingenuous and fake and if there’s two things I hate—in anyone—it’s that.
I square my shoulders and stand up straight, deciding to let him have it, putting my hands out in front of me to count on my fingers.
“One, you cheated on her.” He shakes his head, an amused smile playing on his lips.
“Nope. Next.”
“Two, connected to the first, you hooked up with her sister, best friend or mother . . .” He snorts at that one, chuckling under his breath as he shakes his head again.
“Right, then, the last three,” I continue. “Three through five are offending her family/job/friends or outfit, asking her to pay for your date and lastly, giving her an STD.”
His eyes grow wide and he sits bolt upright.

Fans at the ready this is a B J Harvey Novel so you know it's going to be a hot read! The final book in The Game series Game ender is Thomas and Amy's story, the pair have been on the fringes of the series for a while and I wondered what their story would be. The ultimate Player Thomas quite literally takes himself out of the game when he catches an STD, forced into the realisation that his man wh@re like ways are doing him no favours he embarks on the longest period of celibacy known to man or at least that's what it feels like to him until he meets the one.Unbeknownst to him the one is waiting at the bar in the form of Amy, with Amy guessing the reason for his self imposed celibacy, their potential relationship is firmly in the friend zone especially when she gets knocked up a few months later. However with time and this friend group nothing is ever quite what it seems and when Thomas quite literally catches the baby and the pair become closer than ever the friend zone is the furthest thing from Amy & Thomas's minds.

I'll be honest as much as I loved Game Ender it felt a little Anticlimactic. I had built the potential for Thomas's story so much in my head, the ultimate player meeting his match, that when it actually came time to read it,it wasn't quite as good as I had hoped it would be. Full of fun and frolics just as hot as the other books in the series, All the things I loved, (and I am sure little flowers if you have read the other books that you loved too.) were still a part of Game Ender. I don't think B J Harvey can write a book that hasn't got these elements, the humour, the sex and the liveability of the characters all there but for me it just wasn't quite as good as the other books in the series.  As much as I quite literally 'L.O.L'd' whilst reading the book became breathless at the interactions between Thomas and Amy I just wanted more, I'm not sure what that more would entail I just know I wanted it...

Overall a good 4 stars for a Game Ender....
