Telling the story of presidential race and the romance that can be created between strangers put into close contact Running Mate was an enjoyable read. However don't worry it's not one of those reads this is no Intern with the president story. Political staffer Addison Moore is scrapping by, after ending a disastrous relationship that resulted in her being fired she has started to put her life back on track new job, new apartment is it time for new Love?. When her boss offers her a million dollars to be his sons Fake fiancé for the campaign she knows this is her chance to come out on top. The only rub it's the playboy son she would be 'engaged' to Barrett 'Bear' Callahan.

Playboy Barrett is enjoying it all a women in every city. You know it's gonna be good when a book starts with a full moon and calling someone an asshole in another language although I must admit I never expected the drag twist! With humour, an appearance by a Nordic god look alike (or a Hemsworth one) this romance had it all, Politics, a sexy black sheep son, and a love hate relationship.  Overall Running Mate was a cute and funny read it was my first book by Katie Ashley but won't be my last 4 stars.
