I’ve fallen in love with this dynamic duo’s writing style the fun filled plots and captivating characters have me coming back for more each time I a new release.
Manic Monday is the 1st book in the duos latest trilogy ‘Charity Case’ and tells the story of a familiar character if you have read her previous books you will recognise Victoria as Jagger’s secretary from the Dirty Truth Trilogy. Single mom Victoria has left Jagger’s office and moved back home to help her mom. Moving cross county has its benefits space between her and her ex husband and more support for her daughter.
Unfortunately reminders of her ex aren’t far away when the best man at her wedding Reed turns out to have a connection to her daughters new school and her new friend Harry. Having sworn of men and having a history with Reed are all marks against the potential of a relationship. Marks that Victoria can’t afford to get over or are they? For Reed fate is smiling down on him when his charge Harry’s new friend Jade turns out to be the daughter of the woman he lost out to his friend to. He missed his chance once before and ended up best man at the pairs wedding that won’t happen again no matter what opportunities come his way he wants Victoria in his life and will do anything to make it happen.
Reasons why I liked Manic Monday number 1 - the world the writers have created, populated and invite me into with each new release. 2 - I finished the book wanting to read the next book in the trilogy right now. 3- I want my very own Unicorn co#k (come on we all want one). 4- Jade and Harry they stole my heart along with Victoria and Reeds romance
