Jasmine is a newbie agent, working for a specialist department in Scotland Yard. Jasmine has a rather unique ability in the supernatural world this book sets us in. During her newest assignment, she finds herself kidnapped with a co-worker and shipped off to France. Twitch, her co-worker, also has a special ability and being a techno Mage, he is in demand from the most notorious arms dealer in France; who will pretty much do anything to get what he wants. During the kidnapping, Jasmine comes across Eric...a sexy as hell vampire, who is making her feel things she hasn't felt before. A turn of events sees Jasmine needing to work with Eric to save all the supernaturals in Paris, but can they focus enough on the task instead of their feelings for each other, in enough time to save everyone?

This is the debut novel from this author and I absolutely loved it! I devoured it in just 2 sittings and need the second instalment already. I fell in love with all the characters so easily and the book flowed at a great and interesting pace. This author seriously knows how to write a sexy male lead, because phew...I need me some Eric please! This read was full of action, as well as sexual tension and steamy scenes. It was a paranormal read, but in no way have I read anything like it before, I found it throughly refreshing.

I just hope I don't have to wait too long to read the continuation of this series.

A fantastic 4.5 stars from me.
