Listen Up Little Flowers...

The Forgotten Fairytales By Angela Parkhurst

A psychotic, shoe obsessed Princess.
A not-so-charming, alcoholic Prince.
A hot Big Bad Wolf she absolutely cannot fall for—no matter how well he kisses.

Seventeen-year-old, Norah Hart had no clue when she walked into boarding school, she'd be surrounded by reincarnated fairy tale characters, let alone learn she was one herself. In a world where the lines between good and evil blur, Norah struggles to find her place. When her actions throw off the balance of the fairy tale world and happily ever afters, enemies surface, ready to destroy her at any cost.

Star Rating - 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Norah moved a lot with her father and sister and has now been moved to a new school. The school in itself is a bit strange, as it's a castle. But then Norah learns that each student is from a fairytale. This is too strange for her and she refuses to believe it, until things start to happen that make her change her mind.

This book felt very Once Upon A Time, in that fairytale characters aren't necessarily what they seem and that the stories we hear as children, might have been sweetened up, as the truth is a lot darker. I loved this story once I had settled into it and really clicked with the main character. Not to mention the love interest was rugged and handsome yum yum!!

This book is the first in a series and my first by this author, but I cannot wait to dive into the second instalment.
