A brand new series Becoming a Vincent is the story that introduces us to Tomahawk and the Wild Ones. If you like your men bearded well Tomahawk is the place for you. A 9 year beard competition, the local men have certainly embraced the beard looking more like members of ZZ Top than the gorgeous Franggy; at least at the start of Becoming a Vincent anyway.  Tomahawk is a unique town where the locals provide more than a little colour with crazy antics coming from the Wild Ones, the 4 family's that provide the most local colour.

Lilah Vincent is a Wild One, and the female Wild Ones are the ones you really need to watch out for. Not afraid to go toe to toe with anyone, the hot to crazy factor is high in Tomahawk. Lilah lives by the motto: don't get mad get even and with 2 brothers that motto is often put to the test. With one of her revenge plans putting an end to the beard challenge, she's starting to see her best friend Benson in a whole new light. But this is Tomahawk where even normally has a crazy twist.  This book was the perfect palette cleanse for your reading, was hilarious writing and is a prime example of what I have come to expect from reading a CM Owens novel. The only tagline I can think of to prepare readers of the book, is prepare for the crazy.
