Holly and Declan were high school sweethearts and inseparable for 7 years until one night, their anniversary no less, Declan overheard part of a conversation between holly and her best friend and he ends things without giving holly chance to explain. 6 months later Declan realises the error of his ways and spends the next year trying to win Holly back. Holly is reluctant to give herself back over the Declan. Will be be ready to share her secret with him that ended things all those years ago and will he be able to get over his anger when he finds out??This wasn’t my first read from D. Kelly and certainly won’t be my last. This was a stand-alone novel and I loved every page. I couldn’t wait to see if holly and Declan can forgive each other’s mistakes and finally get their happy ending but I’m not going to tell you either you need to one click this for yourself to find out. The characters were lovable and best friends hilarious and this although sad in parts was a feel good read that I thoroughly recommend.
