After her fiancé was killed in a tragic shooting at a night club Brynn is struggling to come to terms with loosing him still 2 years later. When his phone is returned to her she finds a message that was about to be sent during the accident and Brynn draws the conclusion that she will be able to say her final goodbyes to Jem from the mountain top he loved and climbed frequently. Brynn is adamant she can do this but an accident occurs and she is rescued by a stranger who lives in the woods. Cassidy Porter has lived in the woods since he was 9 years old. Having moved away with his mother from a town that hated them he doesn’t really know much about the current world other than the beauty of this woman he has rescued. Over the coming weeks he nurses her back to health and the spark between the 2 of them is undeniable. But Cass cannot be loved he needs to keep his distance due to his past. Will he be able to put his fears aside and let someone in who can love him?
Omg what a read this was. Although I have read Katy’s work before this was the first novel I’ve read that wasn’t in her modern fairytale series and it was amazing! The story gripped me and I kept the pages turning for 2 days until I turned the last. I don’t want to give too much away but all I’ll say is if you think this will be a predictable storyline then think again!! Pick this up and see for yourself while I run off and one click some more of her work.Natty 🐝
