This is the story of Grace a woman who's taking her life into her own hands fed up with being used by the men in her life to get close to her father or for their own game she along with her 2 friends develop the Test, screw, dump policy and luckily for her the first candidate that crosses her path is the dishy Luke. But what Grace thinks is a chance meeting is more calculated on Luke's part. With steamy scenes that will leave you sighing with jealousy wishing for a Luke of your very own. This book is well written there are no oh why did the author put that moments or I wish this had been beta read by more people.
Plot and story line this book is 5 star but I struggled reading this book, my first by Wendy Byrne for whatever reason I just couldn't quite make the leap to love with this read. Unfortunately I just can't figure out the reason why I didn't find that connection instead of feeling like an escape it felt like hard work. I'm not sure why as I liked the characters, the heroine Grace Wilson was feisty and I enjoyed the way she and her 2 besties set out the rules for the TSD. The hero Luke McCll was all hotness and sex on a stick. Let's face it we all want that sexy man who knows how to move in and out of the bedroom but this book for me was a take it or leave it read, you know the type. Those books where there's nothing wrong with them book but you just don't feel the connection to what the authors written.Hattie 🐝
