This story follows Bree and Ant. Bree has had a pretty rubbish childhood and growing up wasn’t the easiest of things but she’s always had her two best friends to stand by her side. However throw one of this best friends’ ex-boyfriends into the mix and everything starts to get a little complicated. Ant dated Bree’s best friends during high school so when he shows up and sparks start to fly between him and Bree things could get a little complicated.
This story is a stand-alone but follows on with side characters from where the night ends. It’s been a while since I read that so the characters weren’t fresh in my mind so I definitely agree it can be read as a stand-alone. I loved watching the story of Bree and Ant develop and really hoping that through all the tough times Bree finally gets her happily ever after. I thoroughly recommend this and anything else written by Melissa I haven’t read one I don’t like yet.
