This book left me speechless in several places and I had to force myself to put it down, so that I could process what was happening. The plot is so intricate and follows so many twists and turns, it has been superbly written; meeting up at all points, with no loose ends. It is truly a dark and haunting storyline, so if your anything like me, you won't be able to hold off from digging your teeth into this one!
Camila's aim in life is to eradicate as many slave traders as she possibly can. Putting her own life in danger, becoming a slave and meeting someone she never thought she would see again...Matias. Matias is all kinds of hunk and he is just indescribable, but the author sure made him out as a sexy Spanish God. Will Camila submit to her once lover and now mortal enemy? Or will she fight for what she believes in? I'll let you one click this dark and juicy book, so that you can find that out for yourself!
It has been a while since I have read the previous 2 books in the trilogy, so I was almost reading this as if it was a standalone. And although recommended to be read after the first 2 books, it definitely works as an amazing stand alone novel! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! I am eagerly awaiting more from this author, but in the meantime I'm off to re-read her other works!
